ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR THE HOME TECHNOLOGY EVENT 2010

Online registration has now opened for the CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) Home Technology Event which is taking place at the ICC London ExCeL, 15th to 17th June 2010 (training: 14th to 17th June; exhibition: 15th to 17th June).The Home Technology Event remains the only annual trade event in the UK, dedicated to the design, installation and integration of home electronic systems.

Visitors can now sign up to receive their visitor badge by pre-registering at The Home Technology Event’s brand new website, www.hometechnologyevent.co.uk. Registration is free until Tuesday 1st June, so sign up now to ensure your place. Badges will be issued prior to the event either by post or email, allowing visitors to bypass the on-site registration procedures and avoid the inevitable queues on the day, guaranteeing fast-track entry.

With 60% of the exhibition space already allocated, visitors can expect a bustling show with the likes of Amina, Artcoustic, AWE Europe, BMB Electronics, Draper, Extra Vegetables, Fasttel, Future Automation, Gira, Habitech, JVC, Kaleidescape, Philips Dynalite, Premier Mounts, Rako, Sonos and Smart-e Ltd all exhibiting. Amongst the other attractions on the show floor will be the ever-popular Show Floor Seminar Theatre which returns with an even more compelling programme and an impressive line up of keynote speakers. There will also be innovative feature areas dedicated to both 3D and gaming.

CEDIA’s previous Expo events have always been key dates in the European calendar for the smart home industry, and this year’s re-branded show promises to be no exception. As usual, CEDIA will be offering an extensive education programme alongside the trade-only exhibition and this year, the Association is joining forces with a number of high profile media partners to run a series of dedicated conferences: “Engineering Smart Home Networks” is a conference for building services engineers run in conjunction with Building Services & Environmental Engineer (BSEE); CEDIA and Professional Electrician will be operating a “Wired for Technology” conference for electrical contractors and finally the popular “Designing Interiors with Technology” conference will return in association with idFX. These seminars will provide an important introduction to the industry for experts in these fields, as well as introducing CEDIA and the education and marketing support the Association provides.
